About Shannon

For as long as she can remember, Shannon has had an interest in make-up.  Through college, she worked in the Make-Up Department at Mario Tricoci Salon & Day Spa while also freelancing.  After receiving her Associate in Arts Degree, she went on to Cosmetology school and acquired her license. Shannon then worked at a salon as a make-up artist and hairstylist until she decided that she wanted to get more education, so she moved out to California to further her career in make-up.  In 2005, she graduated from Make-Up Designory from the Master Make-Up Artistry Program which included Beauty, Character and Special Effects.  After working in Hollywood for 6 years, she decided to move back to her Midwest roots to be closer to her Family.  She also believed that Chicago had a lot to offer & her career would continue to grow back ‘home’.  After returning to Chicago, she also acquired her Esthetics License.  Since beginning her career, she has worked on various events such as weddings, commercials, television shows, films, fashion shows and various photo shoots.  The list does not end here, but Shannon has worked with talent such as Tyler Florence, Marcus Lemonis, Jack Maxwell, Janice Dickinson, Beth Grant, Jack McGee, Donal Logue, Lance Henrickson, Max Gail, Mike “Doc” Emrick, Eddie Olczyck and Danny Elfman.  Although she is based out of Illinois, she loves to travel and is willing to do make-up all over the world.  She currently holds her Cosmetology License in Illinois as well as California, an Illinois Esthetician License, a Make-Up Certification (Master Make-Up Artistry Program) and is proficient with Airbrushing.
